The Original Tour is London's original Hop-On Hop-Off bus sightseeing operator, running routes across central London with more than 50 stops. Every ticket - from a half-day pass to a seven-day Sightseeing Pass - includes a Hop-On Hop-Off Thames River Cruise operated by City Cruises, audio commentary in 10 languages, free 5G Wi-Fi on board, and access to six self-guided walking tours via the POPGuide app.

The tours cover more than 200 London sights, from Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace to Borough Market and Notting Hill - plus all the hidden gems in between. Buses run daily, year-round, from as early as 8.20am depending on the route.

You can board at any of our designated bus stops across London - there is no fixed starting point. See our Routes & Maps to plan your journey, then simply show your ticket before boarding and the city is yours.

For the River Cruise, boarding points include Westminster Pier, Tower Pier, Greenwich Pier, and the London Eye Pier. Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving a few minutes early is always a good idea.

Yes. The Original Tour is designed for all ages, from curious toddlers to seasoned explorers. Children under 5 travel free, and there is dedicated pram and buggy storage on board.

A few things worth knowing for families:

• Under 5s travel free and do not require a ticket; for safety, they must sit on an accompanying adult's lap

• Child rates apply for children aged 5 - 15

• Pram and buggy space is available on every bus, though wheelchair users take first priority

• A dedicated 45-minute Kids Bus Tour is also available, with live guides, child-friendly commentary and more buggy space on board

Every Original Tour ticket includes a Thames River Cruise operated by City Cruises, valid for the full duration of your pass - whether that is one day or seven. The cruise is Hop-On Hop-Off, so you can board and disembark at any of the four piers.

Boarding points for the River Cruise:

• Westminster Pier: Victoria Embankment, London SW1A 2JH

• Tower Pier: Tower Millennium Pier, Lower Thames St, London EC3N 4DT

• London Eye Pier: The Queen's Walk, London SE1 7PB

• Greenwich Pier: King William Walk, London SE10 9HT

The London Skyline Experience uses a different operator - UberBoat by Thames Clippers - departing from Westminster Pier or Tower Pier to North Greenwich Pier, with a return London Cable Car journey included.

The standard Hop-On Hop-Off passes - half day, 1, 2, 3 and 7 days - do not include attraction entry. They cover unlimited bus travel across all four routes, the Thames River Cruise, onboard audio commentary in 10 languages, free 5G Wi-Fi and access to six self-guided walking tours via the POPGuide app.

Yes. All Original Tour buses are wheelchair accessible, with a dedicated wheelchair space on the lower deck and a boarding ramp. Mobility scooters weighing up to 300kg are also allowed on board, as long as they are manoeuvrable on board the bus. 

Please note that access is limited to the lower deck - the upper deck is not wheelchair accessible. We recommend informing the driver of your needs so that they can deploy the ramp and assist you with your needs. For advance arrangements, contact the Customer Service team before travel.

Hop-On Hop-Off tickets are fully refundable and changeable at no cost, as long as you put in the request at least 24 hours before your original tour date begins. To request a change or cancellation, all you need to do is go to the Manage My Booking page on the website, or contact the Customer Service team (9am–5pm, 7 days a week).

Key details to note:

• Requests made less than 24 hours before the tour date will not be accepted

• If changing to a higher-priced ticket, only the fare difference is charged

• Themed tour tickets (Kids Tour, Night Tour, Christmas Lights Tour) are valid only on the specific date and time booked

• Attraction tickets included in bundle packages follow each attraction partner's own cancellation policy. Please check individual terms before requesting a refund.
