London Dungeon FAQs
Your booking includes sightseeing travel alongside your London Dungeon entry pass. Explore the city at your own pace, then alight near Waterloo or the South Bank to begin your descent into London's past.
The London Dungeon is located on the South Bank, steps from Waterloo Station. The full address is County Hall, Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7PB - right beside the London Eye and the Thames. It is one of the most central and well-connected attractions in the city, making it easy to combine with other South Bank sights on the same day.
The London Dungeon is recommended for ages 12 and above. The experience contains live scare actors, graphic historical content, darkness, and a drop ride, so it is not suited to younger children. All visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If you are unsure whether the experience is right for your group, the London Dungeon website provides a full content guide ahead of your visit.
A standard visit takes approximately 90 minutes from start to finish. You move through 19 live shows in a guided group format, so the pace is set for you. Allow extra time at the beginning for entry queues, particularly during peak periods, and at the end if you plan to visit the gift shop.
Walk-in tickets are sometimes available, but booking your London Dungeon tickets in advance is strongly recommended. Pre-booked tickets guarantee your entry time and typically offer a better rate than on-the-door pricing. During school holidays and weekends, timed-entry slots can sell out well in advance.
Photography and video recording are not permitted inside the attraction to preserve the immersive atmosphere for all guests.
