What is a London night bus tour?
A London night bus tour is an evening tour of England’s capital city. Our Night Bus Tour of London is an open top tour which allows you to experience the beauty of London at night. The tour runs along our Yellow Route every day from 4.30pm to 7.45pm and you can use any bus along this route with a valid hop-on hop-off ticket. To complete a full loop of this tour and see the London skyline by night, the last full tours of the evening leave at the following times:
Stop 1, Grosvenor Gardens, Victoria: 5.15pm daily
Stop 17, Coventry Street, Leicester Square: 5pm Monday - Thursday and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday
This tour will not run on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve.

London Night Bus Tour route
The Original Tour of London by night follows the Yellow Route from 4.30pm until 7.45pm, which also operates during the day. This route takes you past most of London’s famous landmarks and crosses the river Thames twice for spectacular views of the city when night falls, making this one of the best London night tours.
On the Yellow Route, you will pass Buckingham Palace, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London, along with many other hot spots in central London.
There will be plenty of photo opportunities from either the top of the bus or when you choose to get off for some London night sightseeing. You will be able to experience the twinkling lights of the city as the sun sets over London.

Our London evening tours run daily from 4.30pm-7.45pm until the 28th February 2019. This tour will not run on the following dates:
Christmas Eve: Monday 24th December 2018
Christmas Day: Tuesday 25th December 2018
Boxing Day: Wednesday 26th December 2018
New Year's Eve: Monday 31st December 2018

Some points of interest where you may want to leave the bus to explore include Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament and the Tower of London. You will have the opportunity to get on and off the bus at your leisure, or you can stay on the double-decker for the full duration of the London night bus tour, which lasts around 2 hours and 20 minutes.

The London by night open top bus tour is an exclusive evening tour running from 4.30pm-7.45pm, so your tickets cannot be used during the day. It is valid for any of our buses along the Yellow Route and passes most of London’s famous landmarks. However, if you'd prefer to explore London by day, check out our 24-hour or 48-hour bus tickets.
