1. The Albion

Number one on the list is Islington’s favourite summer hide-out, The Albion. With its long wisteria covered exterior and log fires for the winter, The Albion is the perfect location if you want to relax and forget about the stresses of modern life. The cocktails are delightful, the beers are elegant and the food menu is sure to leave you more than content with life.

2. The Malborough

Topping the social poll is The Malborough; a humble little pub blessed with comfy leather seats, tasteful art and a handsome dining area, not to mention a brilliantly sized beer garden.

According to The Marlborough, even on cold days, this pub is well worth the visit as thanks to the courtyard area, they have plenty of outdoor seating with heaters and even parasols.

3. The Crabtree

In second place is The Crabtree, found in Fulham. With its spectacular position on the river, this cosy little pub boasts huge gardens, a glazed colonnade that peers on to the Thames and an infamous weeping willow that sets the mood for this humble pub.

According to one Londoner, the King Prawns with hot chilli oil on toast are a must!

4. The People’s Park Tavern

This hearty little village pub and brewery beside Victoria Park in the heart of East London is certainly a sight for sore eyes. The People’s Park Tavern was created to serve the ordinary people of the East End, earning an amazing reputation throughout all of London as being one of the best pubs in the city.

The People’s Park Tavern have an onsite brewery, the “Brew Lab”, which is one of three operated in London by the Laine Brew Co, and each site has a five brewer’s barrel brewery, meaning that each time they craft a batch, they produce another 1,440 pints of beer.

5. The Rye

Tucked away north of the river just off Peckham Rye Common, The Rye is an inviting pub in the heart of Peckham that offers a great choice of drinks and British meals.
