Whether you arrive in London by plane, train or coach, you’ll probably need to travel a little further to reach the city centre. Our Visitor Centre is located in Trafalgar Square, and you can’t really get much more central than that. So, for the purpose of this guide, all of our directions to central London are to The Original Tour Visitor Centre.

You may be staying a little further away from here, but once you reach The Original Tour Visitor Centre, it is pretty easy to travel to anywhere else in London by bus, tube or taxi.

Arriving to London by Train

There are lots of train stations in London connecting you to Trafalgar Square when travelling to central London by train.

Hop straight onto The Original Tour: Our main tour departure point from Victoria Station is stop 1 at Grosvenor Gardens on the Yellow Route

By tube: Take the District or Circle line on the Underground to Charing Cross and walk 6 minutes to The Original Tour Visitor Centre

Hop straight onto The Original Tour: Take the ‘York Road’ exit from the train station. The Yellow Route, stop 8, is on York Road outside of Gail’s Bakery

By tube: Take the Northern or Bakerloo line on the Underground to Charing Cross and walk 6 minutes to The Original Tour Visitor Centre

Hop straight onto The Original Tour: You will find our bus stop 47, on the Orange Route, at Eurostars Arrivals, stop T, on Pancras Road

By tube: Take the Piccadilly line to Piccadilly Circus and walk 6 minutes to The Original Tour  Visitor Centre

Hop straight onto The Original Tour: Leave Euston station from the exit at the far left. Turn right along Eversholt Street and continue along the road to stop L at Upper Woburn Place, which is stop 46 on the Orange Route

Take the tube: Take the Northern line to Charing Cross and walk 6 minutes to The Original Tour Visitor Centre

Hop straight onto The Original Tour: It takes around 15 minutes to walk from Liverpool Street to Tower Hill to join the Yellow Route at stop 15

Take the tube: Take the Circle line to Embankment and walk 8 minutes to The Original Tour Visitor Centre

Hop straight onto The Original Tour: Walk 5 minutes to Baker Street Station and our bus stop is located on Marylebone Road where you can take the Red Route from stop 82

Take the train: Take the Bakerloo line from Marylebone station to Charing Cross station and walk 6 minutes to The Original Tour Visitor Centre

Hop straight onto The Original Tour: Exit the station onto Pread Street and turn right. Head to stop 27 on the Blue or Grey Route to the left of the Hilton Meltropole Hotel

Take the tube: Take the Bakerloo line from Paddington station to Charing Cross station and walk 6 minutes to The Original Tour Visitor Centre

Airports and Bus Terminals

If you’ve just landed in London or arrived on a National Express bus, the chances are you will want to head straight to your hotel to drop off your luggage or head to bed before exploring the city. However, if you are only in London for a day trip or a quick layover, then head straight to The Original Tour Visitor Centre near Trafalgar Square. Grab you sightseeing bus tickets and hop straight onto The Original Tour.

By tube: Take the Piccadilly line from the airport to Piccadilly Circus and walk 6 minutes to The Original Tour Visitor Centre

By tube: Take the Greater Anglia service from the airport to Tottenham Hale. From here, take the Victoria line to Warren Street then change onto the Northern line to Charing Cross. Walk 8 minutes to The Original Tour Visitor Centre.

By tube: Take the Thames Link to London Bridge station then change onto the Southeastern line to Charing Cross

By bus and tube: Take the National Express bus to Baker Street then take the Bakerloo line to Charing Cross

Take the DLR to Canning Town station and change onto the Jubilee line. Finally, change onto the Northern line at Waterloo Underground station to Charing Cross

By tube: Take the Central line from Stratford Bus Station to Tottenham Court Road then change onto the Northern line to Charing Cross

By tube: Take the Northern line from Golders Green to Charing Cross

By tube: Walk 7 minutes to Victoria Station then take the District or Circle line to Charing Cross
